About Us:

In 1975, Frank LaPorta Sr. owned a trucking company, and was hauling freight of all types, including office furniture.

It was at that time that he realized that he could provide pre-owned office furniture at a great price to this market place.

The first phase of this business included driving trucks during the night and selling office furniture during the day, with no outside help except for his wife, Connie who did all the book work and helped keep the store open all day.

Discount Desk Company was a success right from the start, and required the help of Frank LaPorta Jr., who is currently the President of the company and running the business.

Al LaPorta, son of Frank Jr., joined the company in the mid 1980's and Lori (Creto) LaPorta daughter of Frank Jr., joined the company in the early 1990's to help run this rapidly growing company.

In addition Discount Desk Company now employs a group of people doing various jobs with great integrity in all areas of the business. We look forward to serving you.
